Blizzard Cochise Orange Size 171 cm All-Mountain Alpine Skis
136/108/122 mm Turning Radius 23 m
The Blizzard Cochise has been updated for 2018 season along with the rest of the all mountain freeride collection. These skis have been given a slightly shorter turn radius, a new tip shape designed to initiate turns more smoothly and instantaneously, and a new progressive rocker concept. While we understand that there may be some skiers nervous about these changes to their favorite ski, rest assured Blizzard knows what they're doing. They've retained everything that made the Cochise popular in the first place, but enhanced its ability across all types of terrain. The Cochise is a freeride all mountain ski that's designed to handle anything at your local resort. You can carve turns on groomers thanks to camber under foot and two sheets of metal providing excellent torsional stiffness and vibration dampening. On the other hand the 108 mm waist width and rockered tips and tails give it awesome ability in off-piste terrain. The Cochise has slightly tapered tips and tails, unlike the narrower skis in Blizzard's all mountain freeride line, which enhance its ability in soft snow. For a lot of skiers the Cochise could act as a dedicated powder ski, but make sure you're ready for the two sheets of metal. It's a relatively aggressive ski that asks for a similarly aggressive skier.
