Best Winter Friendly Breweries in Bend Oregon

Bend Oregon has a reputation of being the outdoor lover’s paradise in the winter and rightfully so. Skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling are just some of the outdoor activities to relish in. But there’s another wintertime outdoor activity that we love to do in Bend just as much. Drink beer.

So, if you’ve got a hankering to keep that outdoor vibe going in the winter and want to stay warm, social, and buzzed then here are a few fantastic winter friendly breweries to drink at in Bend Oregon.

Crux Brewery brews some of the tastiest and most unique beers in Bend and offers loads of outdoor seating. And in the winter, you’ll find a large fire pit to gather around to keep you warm. So, head to Crux and I guarantee that one of their 20+ beers on tap will keep you warm and cozy this winter.

10 Barrel  has two locations in Bend, and both offer outside seating complete with heaters and fire pits. So, don’t think that winter is the Apocalypse, instead when Nature Calls and you’ve got to be outside, then head over to 10 Barrel.

Bend Brewing Company, Bend’s second oldest brewery offers loads of outdoor seating. In the winter it comes complete with heaters and a gorgeous wintery view of the Deschutes River. So, gather your friends for a night of cheersing and staying toasted, I mean staying toasty.

Monkless Brewery has gone old school and brews some delicious and unique Belgian Ales. They also offer outside seating that includes heat lamps on their deck that sits along the Deschutes River. Although, after a rich, dark, malty and full bodied 12% Belgian Ale, you might be plenty warm, and the heaters might not be needed.

Sunriver Brewery which now has a location here in Bend offers up some top-notch IPAs and mouthwatering food to go with them. Sunriver has a great back patio complete with a fire pit and heated bridge that make your happy hour even happier.

Whatever kind of beer you love, Bend Oregon has you covered. But, if you’re looking to drink one this winter at one of our amazing local breweries and stay warm, then these are the best breweries for it. Cheers!
